Ryan Garcia and Saul “Canelo” Alvarez have reconciled, with Garcia stating that they have no hard feelings. Garcia had left Canelo’s training team in 2022, citing a lack of attention from Eddy Reynoso.
Their friendship deteriorated after Garcia’s departure, with Alvarez criticizing his work ethic and Garcia responding with verbal jabs. However, they have now patched things up.

However, in 2021, Garcia and Alvarez had a falling out when Garcia decided to change trainers. This led to Alvarez criticizing Garcia sharply. Recently, Alvarez extended an olive branch by referring to Garcia as “a good person,” as there were concerns about Garcia’s mental health before his upcoming fight with Devin Haney on April 20.
In response, Garcia posted a message on social media thanking Canelo for his kind words. Although the problems between them may have been resolved for now, it remains uncertain whether Ryan Garcia will train with Canelo Alvarez and Eddy Reynoso again.
