A video of Mike Tyson explaining his fear of having his feet stepped on has resurfaced following Thursday’s incident with Jake Paul.
Tyson, 58, will fight a much-younger Paul (28) this Friday night. Netflix will stream the event from the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The boxers met up for their weigh-ins on Thursday, and things turned ugly when they faced off, as the former undisputed world heavyweight champion would slap Paul after he stepped up to him. It wasn’t immediately clear why, but videos have since popped up showing the YouTuber stepping on Mike’s toes.
Apparently, Tyson can’t stand having his feet stepped on and admitted he would tap out in an MMA fight if someone ever did it to him in the octagon. You can check out his old interview below.
“That’s why he slapped Jake Paul. 😂,” a fan laughed.
“This makes a lot of sense 😂,” another wrote.

“Oh — thats why @jakepaul did it, trying to get in his head. I bet he does it during the fight as well,” said a third.
“Lol still can’t believe Mike Tyson got so fired up about people stepping on his toes 😂,” a fourth shared.
“So he tapped out on Jake’s face? We have already won it seems 🙂↕️,” someone wrote.
Was Jake Paul Trying To Get In Mike Tyson’s Head?
Jake Paul had it coming, but one has to wonder whether this was a calculated move on his part. If he was trying to get Mike Tyson riled up, it definitely worked.
The incident has added some intrigue to the upcoming fight, with Paul vowing to knock Tyson out after the slap, which he claims has made it personal.
The younger star is the favorite going into the match, given his age, but Tyson is still a formidable opponent, even approaching his 60s.
