The fight was initially scheduled for February 17, 2024, in Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. However, Fury’s facial injury suffered while training forced the fight’s postponement. The battle was rescheduled for the next month, May 18, 2024, at the exact location.
The fight night will begin on Saturday, May 18, at 10 a.m. ET / 7 a.m. PT. DAZN PPV will cover the whole fight globally.

Predicting Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk
Tyson Fury has an impressive boxing record of 34-0-1; out of 34, 24 of his fights were won via KO. Oleksandr Usyk will enter the ring with a record of 21-0-0, 14 of which were won via KO.
The victor will be the first heavyweight champion to hold the title without challenge in the four-belt era.
The 35-year-old Gipsy King has been the WBC champion since he defeated Deontay Wilder in an exciting match in 2020. However, in his most recent fight, he barely escaped a major upset by rising off the canvas to defeat former UFC champion Francis Ngannou via split decision.

Usyk, a Ukrainian, is still unbeaten in his professional career and hasn’t lost since moving from cruiserweight, where he was the undisputed champion, to heavyweight.
The 37-year-old stopped Daniel Dubois in November last year to keep his crowns as the IBF, WBA, and WBO champion after dominating former champion Anthony Joshua in two fights in 2021 and 2022.
Most bookies have Fury as the slight favourite, but it’s hard to pick between them, and you might argue that either will win the historic match.
The Gipsy King didn’t seem convincing against Ngannou but in past battles of the calibre that will take place on Saturday, his resilience and unwavering strength have proven too much to his opponents.
Nevertheless, Usyk is undoubtedly the superior boxer; if he can tire out Fury and drag the bout into the closing stages, his cunning and quickness of strike will probably show through.
