Social media superstar turned boxer Jake Paul has given a bold prediction for his fight against Ryan Bourland. ‘The Problem Child’ will be taking on the former three times Golden Gloves champion this weekend at the Coliseo Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Paul has made quite the name for himself in the sport of boxing over the past few years. He has earned notable victories over former UFC fighters like, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, and Ben Askren. However, he has now started to take a more traditional route as he intends on winning a world championship.
Ryan Bourland holds a professional record of 17-2. Moreover, on paper he has the most experience as a boxer than any of Jake Paul’s previous opponents. However, despite this, ‘The Problem Child’ is favored heavily to get the job done rather easily.
Speaking about his fight during a recent interaction with Ariel Helwani, Paul claimed that he is going to stop the veteran pugilist. While suggesting that he will emerge victorious within two rounds, ‘The Problem Child’ said:
“KO, easy money. You already know how I do it, bro. Stop playing with me, Ariel, stop playing with me… [I’ll finish him in] two rounds or less.”

As a result, many former boxers have entertained the idea of potentially fighting Jake Paul. The same seems to be the case with Carl Froch. Froch and Paul have gone back and forth on social media multiple times. Moreover, the former boxer has showed willingness to come out of retirement to fight Paul.
Speaking about the same during a recent interview with Boxing Social, Jake Paul suggested that he is the new Floyd Mayweather of the sport and said:
“Of course he would, he wants payday. Of course, bro. All these guys will fight me. I’m the new Floyd Mayweather in the sport, seriously. Because I make my own decisions, I know how to get the business contracts done, I do the biggest PPVs, and I’m my own boss. So, I can move and go wherever I want. So yes, I am the new Floyd in this sport, and yes, everybody wants to fight me.”
