The boxer with a famous last name, Tommy Fury, is stirring up the combat sports world. He is not content with just beating Jake Paul in the boxing ring. Now, he is eyeing a whole new challenge, taking on Paul in MMA.
Notably, Fury and Paul have a history. Their boxing match in Saudi Arabia last year was a spectacle to behold. Fury emerged victorious, but apparently, that wasn’t enough for the British fighter. In a recent video on his YouTube channel, he extended a challenge to the YouTuber-turned-boxer.
“I’m gonna smash his face in when I get good at MMA. I’ll beat him in boxing and the cage. Big useless pr**k.I reckon a year-and-a-half to two years of training until I’ll beat him in a fight no problem in the cage,” said Fury.
Tommy Fury had been spotted training MMA as he teamed up with UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall. As such, his confidence is through the roof. The Love Island heartthrob believes he only needs a year or two of training to decimate Jake Paul.
Aspinall’s involvement adds an intriguing dimension to this potential matchup. The UFC champ’s guidance could be a game-changer for Tommy Fury. This potential MMA showdown adds a new wrinkle to their rivalry. Will Fury’s boxing skills translate to the cage? Can Paul’s wrestling nullify Fury’s striking? Only time will tell.

Tommy Fury is itching for another go. He posted a video on Instagram, showing off his one-handed sparring skills. In the post, he wrote a caption that was basically an invite to Jake Paul for the rematch. But Paul was not having it. He fired back with a zinger in the comments.
“You need money, Tommy? Learn from big bro and stop letting daddy manage your career and finances. You lost out on the biggest opportunity of your life, #PaulTyson. My next offer is going to be half that,” commented Paul on Fury’s post.
Paul had claimed he once offered Fury a sweet $20 million deal. Two fights – one in boxing, one in MMA. But Fury apparently passed. Now, Paul is the one playing hardball. He has bigger fish to fry as he’s gearing up to face Mike Tyson soon.
