Social media megastar Logan Paul has opened up about getting the opportunity to fight Floyd Mayweather again.
Paul and Mayweather entered the squared circle back in June 2021 for an exhibition bout at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, USA. The eight-round exhibition did not have any winner announced at the end of the fight. Despite being outboxed by Mayweather, Paul was praised for lasting eight rounds against arguably the best boxer that the sport has ever seen.
Now, three years after his exhibition against Floyd Mayweather, Logan Paul has made an interesting revelation. In an interview on In Depth With Graham Bensinger, Paul said that Floyd Mayweather contacted him twice, trying to convince him to fight.
Paul revealed that Mayweather was supposed to fight on the helipad of the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai but his fight fell through. As a result, ‘Maverick’ was contacted by Mayweather’s team to come in as a replacement on short notice.
However, Logan Paul denied the opportunity as he did not want to fight Floyd Mayweather on short notice. Moreover, he revealed that he has already had the chance to fight Mayweather and if he were to fight him again, it would be to beat him and not just share the ring with him. He said:
“If I did it again, it would be to beat Floyd Mayweather – which I think is doable. I just need to train properly.”

When was Logan Paul last seen inside the boxing ring?
Logan Paul’s last fight inside the squared circle was a bizarre one, to say the least. Last year, he took on MMA fighter Dillon Danis in what was arguably the most talked-about fight of the year.
In the fight, Paul dominated Danis for the majority of six rounds before Danis tried to pull off a submission move towards the end and got himself disqualified. Since then, ‘Maverick’ has made it known that he has no interesting in boxing anymore and will focus on his career as a WWE wrestler.
