Saudi Royalty has warned promoters or IBF about getting in the way of a potential Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford fight. Alvarez has officially been ordered his next fight by the IBF. The Mexican recently returned to the squared circle and took on Jamie Munguia.
Alvarez went up against his countryman Munguia in an attempt to defend his undisputed super middleweight title. When they entered the ring in Las Vegas about two weeks ago, the champion was able to get the better of Munguia.
Having dominated his opponent for the majority of the fight, Canelo Alvarez won the bout via unanimous decision. In the process, the Mexican also retained his undisputed super middleweight title.
While many thought about potentially seeing Alvarez vs Crawford, the IBF has ordered Alvarez to defend his undisputed titles against William Scull.
However, it looks like Turki Al Ashikh is not happy with it. He wanted to put together Alvarez vs Crawford and has warned any promoter or boxing organization about getting in the way of his plans.

Jamie Munguia’s loss compared to Floyd Mayweather beating Canelo Alvarez
Jamie Munguia seems to have a bright future ahead of him and that is what his promoter and former pro boxer, Oscar De La Hoya, believes. During the post-fight press conference, the promoter linked Munguia’s loss to that of Alvarez’s loss to Floyd Mayweather in the past. He said:
“It’s just like Mayweather-Canelo, you know. Canelo got schooled. Same thing with Munguia, he did get schooled but he gained experience.”

That said, the boxing promoter has certainly raised a good point. Jamie Munguia has a lot of room to grow and has a lot of potential, and this experience will certainly help him become a better fighter.
