The “mole” in Ryan Garcia’s camp may have revealed himself, having posted an apology video on the back of the 24-year-old’s loss to Gervonta Davis on Saturday night.
Garcia was the victim of a damaging body shot on the night and was unable to recover after dropping to one knee, handing Davis the win. Shortly after the fight, Garcia claimed there was a mole in his team who leaked a body injury to Davis.
The lightweight star made it clear that this was no excuse for losing but he did put it out there.
Davis seemed to be in the know as it pertained to Garcia’s body injury as he made mention of it two weeks before the fight. A video has since surfaced online showing the latter’s sparring partner, Erdenebat Tsendbaatar apologizing for hurting Garcia during training.

While he doesn’t admit to being the one who leaked the information to Davis’ team, this has led to some speculation from fans, as you would expect.
Garcia and Davis could have a rematch at some point – and you can believe that the former WBC Interim Lightweight champion will want to even things up – but social media seems to think it will be very difficult for Tsendbaatar to get another job as a sparring partner.
As to whether he’s the mole or not, we can’t be sure as this is not enough to go on, yet it certainly does not help his case.
