Ryan Garcia has been called out by Sean O’Malley’s next opponent, Merab Dvalishvili.
There has been much talking surrounding Garcia’s future ever since he secured a shock victory over Devin Haney last weekend. It is worth noting that they fought multiple times during their amateur days, and their amateur series ended with three wins for each fighter.
On the night, Ryan Garcia surprised everyone with a shock majority decision victory. Since then, he has been vocal about a potential boxing fight against Sean O’Malley. However, it is far from happening anytime soon.
Despite this, O’Malley’s next opponent in the UFC has called out Garcia. While replying to the UFC bantamweight champion, Merab Dvalishvili suggested that he will be in line to face Garcia after beating him. He said:
“The KO will be coming from me so I guess I will be boxing Ryan next”

Ryan Garcia appeared to have a complete mental breakdown in the build-up to the fight against Devin Haney. Interestingly, many suggested that he was not taking the fight seriously because of his antics.

However, it was just a marketing ploy to sell the fight. Speaking about it during an appearance on the PBD Podcast, he said:
“We had it pre-recorded with my cameraman months ago, I said, ‘I’m about to make sure everybody thinks I’m going to go crazy.’ I have it all documented. I was planning it months ago. I don’t know what made me come up with the idea, I just decided to go all in and commit to the plan that I had.”
That said, it’s safe to say that Ryan Garcia managed to fool everyone with his antics.
