The boxing community is voicing for a potential bout between Terence Crawford and Canelo Alvarez, who are currently two of the best pound-for-pound boxers. However, there’s one other thing going around. That’s predicting who would win the potential Crawford vs. Canelo bout. And recently, another big name has been added to an already long list of predictors.
Oleksandr Usyk, the undisputed cruiserweight champion, has an interesting take on a potential Crawford vs. Canelo fight. Although he called Bud his friend, he mentioned the boxer was “crazy.” Speaking on the Three Knockdown Rule, he said,
“Terence is my friend, but he’s a crazy man. I say Terence wins. Listen, Terence is a different man. Terence works in two stances, he’s a very, very, very smart man.”
However, Usyk isn’t the only boxing superstar to have commented on Crawford vs. Canelo. Recently, former English boxer Errol Spence Jr. also had a similar stance supporting Bud in his potential bout against Canelo. But for these two boxers’ predictions to come true, the boxing match needs to be finalized. And only one man knows how to make that happen!
Turki Alalshikh Ready To Give Canelo Alvarez “Fair Price” To Face Terence Crawford
Saudi advisor Alalshikh’s influence in the combat sports world has been immense in the last few years. From cracking a deal with UFC to bringing in top boxers, he has done it all. Now, he has set his sights on making Canelo fight Crawford.

“I will give Canelo [Alvarez] what I think is a fair price. If he accepts it, he deals directly with me to finish the deal. I don’t want anyone in the middle. I guaranteed Crawford a big fight, I want Canelo for Crawford, and Crawford wants Canelo. But if Canelo is crazy (with his financial demands), I will still guarantee Crawford any fight he wants.”
While Crawford vs. Canelo is still an imagination, Bud will face Israil Madrimov this coming Saturday, August 3. The American will enter the BMO Stadium’s boxing ring with an opportunity to create history. Bud can become a four-division champion if he manages to outclass his counterpart. Will he be able to do that? That’s a question that will be answered on Saturday.
