After defeating Mike Tyson recently, the YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul is now looking at his next potential opponent. While fans had been speculating multiple names, the MVP Promoters co-founder Nakisa Bidarian has revealed a new prospect who could face the 27-year-old.
Speaking with Sky Sports in a recent interview, Bidarian talked about the undefeated British boxer called Viddal Riley, who has an impressive record of 11-0. He also reflected on the fact that the latter could face the YouTuber-turned-boxer in a heavy payday match in the United Kingdom, but only if he managed to prove his “big box office power.”
“I’m sure for Viddal Riley if he’s going to fight Jake Paul he’s going to want a big payday,” Bidarian said.
While adding up, he told Sky Sports, “He has to show us that he deserves a big payday and if he can actually show that he has drawing power, that people are willing to pay to watch him fight in a stadium, on TV then that makes it a much more realistic fight.”
The 27-year-old Riley last faced fellow compatriot boxer Mikael Lawal on March 31, 2024, at The O2 Arena, London, England. He defeated the latter via Unanimous Decision to retain his English cruiserweight title. Moreover, he also enjoys a massive fan following on social media, with over 500K followers solely on Instagram.
If Not Viddal Riley, Here Are A Few Possible Names Who Jake Paul Could Face Next
The YouTuber-turned-boxer’s latest victory over legendary Tyson may have brewed some wild speculations about the match being scripted. However, these conversations have turned old now. Paul is actively looking for his next potential fight. And considering a few permutations and combinations, only a few names can make the cut.

The first name is Conor McGregor, the legendary double UFC champion. Although the Irish superstar has been facing some legal troubles lately, he can still be the next opponent for Jake Paul. The sole reason behind this is that the 36-year-old enjoys a similar fan following to the YouTuber-turned-boxer. And if they ever meet each other in the ring, it might break almost all the previous boxing PPV records.
The next realistic name could be Canelo Alvarez, the Mexican boxer with an incredible boxing record of 62-2-2. His career has often left fans in a nutshell, raising questions like how someone can be so good in the boxing ring. The 34-year-old last faced Edgar Berlanga in September in a winning cause and is on a well-deserved break. But if he faces Paul in the near future, it could be a fight-of-the-decade kind of matchup.
Other prominent names that can share the ring with Jake Paul are Tommy Fury and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. However, the YouTuber-turned-boxer’s picky nature to choose an opponent can sideline them eventually. Whatsoever the case be, it will be interesting to see who will ‘The Problem Child’ face next in his career.
