Boxing icon Manny Pacquiao (60-7-2, 39 KOs) will be taking on Adrien Broner (33-3-1, 24 KOs in less than two weeks on a Showtime pay-per-view event in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It will be Manny’s first United States fight since his win over Jessie Vargas in November 2016, and Broner’s debut as a pay-per-view headliner. At stake on January 19th is Pacquiao’s WBA secondary welterweight title.
For the fans that want to partake in this title fight, it should be noted that it is not cost friendly.
It was revealed on Tuesday that this card has been priced at $74.99 (for HD viewing), the same as Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury just last month. The difference between that fight and this one is Wilder-Fury reportedly sold about 325,000 on pay-per-view, which made it profitable.
You can expect millions of people to illegally stream this fight online much like they did for the Wilder-Fury bout.
