Conor McGregor responded to the news of Ryan Garcia testing positive for banned substances. Garcia recently achieved one of the biggest victories in his career by defeating Devin Haney.
Going into the fight as a major underdog, Garcia managed to secure a decision victory after dropping Haney three times during the fight. However, his victory has been overshadowed after he tested positive for banned substances.
While Ryan Garcia has maintained innocence and claimed that he did not take any PEDs, he has been scrutinized on the internet. The same was the reaction of Conor McGregor, who ripped into Garcia in a now-deleted tweet. He said:
“Cheated the weight and juiced, lifetime ban, sad to see, sad to say. Sad and a bit sick. Don’t come near me if I see you, Ryan Garcia. I am actually disgusted.”
Take a look at his tweet below:

This would be Conor McGregor’s fight in over two years. Despite this, Charles Oliveira has backed him to emerge victorious. Moreover, Oliveira even called out McGregor for a fight.
Interestingly, the Brazilian suggested that he does not believe that Conor McGregor would like to fight him. He said:
“I think Conor [defeats Chandler]… Everyone knows, in fact I’ve asked for this fight against Conor a thousand times. But it’s a fight that, I don’t think he wants this fight and everyone knows it. It’s a fight that will bring me a lot of money, so I’d like it.”
That said, it will be interesting to see if the two ever lock horns inside the octagon or not in the future.
