Rally car driving champion Ken Block is dead at 55, the result of a snowmobile accident in Utah.
Block, also co-founder of the fashionable brand DC Shoes, was riding said vehicle along a steep slope on Monday when it suddenly overturned and landed on him. That is according to the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office, which reported that Ken succumbed to his injuries on the scene and was pronounced dead there.
“Mr. Block was riding with a group but was alone when the accident occurred,” a statement from the sheriff’s office reads. “We are saddened to hear of the loss of Kenneth and our hearts are with his family and friends so deeply affected.”
