In his prime, Mike Tyson hit like a truck loaded with heavy weight. No boxer, even at their peak, would take a fight with him just to avoid his devastating punches. Many would think that every opponent would name Tyson the hardest puncher they’ve faced. However, Jake Paul surprised everyone when he revealed that Tommy Fury hit him the hardest in his career, leaving Tyson out of the conversation.
After the biggest fight of the year, Jake Paul sat down for an episode of his podcast, BS with Jake Paul. During the discussion, the 27-year-old was asked about the hardest puncher he’s faced in the ring. Surprisingly, Paul named Tommy Fury instead of Mike Tyson. Paul explained his reasoning, revealing why he believes Fury’s punch was the hardest he’s ever encountered inside the squared circle.
He stated, “I would say Tommy Fury, because it’s the shots you don’t see… And what I mean by that is, if you see the punch coming, you can prepare for it. If you’re going into something and you can’t see it, and then all of a sudden you get hit, that’s when it hurts. But Mike’s punches I could see coming. He was strong, but he didn’t land anything clean..”
Subsequently, Paul explained that he never truly felt Tyson’s full power, and he was fine with that—after all, no one wants to experience it. He mentioned that he kept moving and staying elusive throughout the fight, with Tyson only landing his hook. However, Paul kept his hand up, blocking it as best as possible.
Jake Paul Receives Reply From Conor McGregor After Calling Him Out for MMA Fight
Following his controversial victory over Tyson, Jake Paul called out former UFC double champion Conor McGregor for an MMA showdown, aiming to take their rivalry to the next level. After the fight, Paul tweeted challenging McGregor, saying the UFC fighter previously offered a 170-lb boxing match, but Paul suggested an MMA bout with no weight class.
He wrote, “Dear Conor, I know you told my team you would fight me at 170lbs. That’s never happening. But let’s run it in MMA. No weight class. Just like how it used to be done. But you won’t.”

To which McGregor fired back with a solid jab, sharing a photo of 82-year-old Mitch McConnell. He mocked Paul, saying someone like him was next to fight, poking fun at Paul’s tendency to fight older or retired opponents.
