While YouTube sensation Jake Paul is eyeing bouts with UFC welterweight stars Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz after a sixth-round knockout of Tyron Woodley earlier this month, there was a viral report that his last fight completely bombed with viewers.
Jorge Masvidal brought major attention to it when he took a jab at Paul for selling just 65k pay-per-views in his rematch against Tyron Woodley that transpired on December 18th.
The event was initially scheduled to be headlined by Paul and Tommy Fury. However, Fury pulled out due to health issues and was replaced by Woodley on short notice.
As reported by boxing insider Steven Muehlhausen, the Paul-Woodley rematch garnered less than 65,000 buys on cable and satellite pay-per-view.

After seeing all the hoola on social media about the PPV numbers, Paul eventually had to speak on it, and revealed that it was not his best “business night,” but it did way more than the reported 65,000 buys.
If those numbers are correct, fans might be getting tired of his shtick already and needs to step his game up and fight an actual boxer that will give him a challenge.
