Jake Paul has proposed a fascinating rule change for Mike Tyson ahead of their highly-touted boxing match that’s now 88 days away.
On Nov. 15, Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will square off in a pro boxing match that will air on Netflix. The bout, which was initially scheduled to take place last month, will be held at the Dallas Cowboys’ home venue of AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Tyson and Paul attended a press conference in New York City on Sunday to promote their upcoming match. During the presser, Paul offered a major rule change to the former world champion, per George Glinski of talkSPORT.
“You’re the one that wanted eight, two-minute rounds,” Paul said in response to Tyson advising him to “be in good shape” for the bout. “Want to make it eight, threes? Don’t talk to me about shape.”
Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson will feature eight 2-minute rounds, and the boxers will 14-ounce gloves. Tyson, who turned 58 years of age on June 30, is 29 years older than the 27-year-old Paul.
