Iyanna Mayweather is facing a lengthy prison sentence if convicted of the stabbing of Lapattra Jacobs, the mother of rapper Young Boy Never Broke Again’s child.
Earlier this month, Iyanna showed up the rapper’s Houston area home and first asked the other young lady to leave. Sh would then retrieve a knife and once the other young lady approached her, she allegedly stabbed her in both of her arms.
Iyanna was charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. According to Bossip, she faces up to 99 years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted.
She has reportedly hired attorney Kurt Schaffer to represent her in her legal battle. He is famous for successfully defending J. Prince, the founder and CEO of Rap-A-Lot Records.
The Texas Penal Code states says that a person found guilty of second-degree felony assault faces a lesser sentence of between two and 20 years, with a fine of no more than $10,000.

Mayweather was released on $30,000 bond on April 4.
