On May 6, champion Naoya Inoue and challenger Luis Nery will square off for the first bout in boxing history when a fighter defends the undisputed super bantamweight title in the Tokyo Dome. ESPN+ will broadcast the 12-round fight and undercard activity in the United States.
The main card begins at 5 p.m. local time (4 a.m. ET). Depending on how long the undercard bouts go, the main event should start at approximately 7 a.m. ET (8 p.m. local time).
US Eastern Time is thirteen hours ahead of Japan Standard Time.
When Inoue defends his WBC, WBO, IBF, and WBA junior featherweight belts against former two-weight world champion Nery, he wants to continue his perfect professional record and further establish his case for greatness in the pound-for-pound division.

In a historic fight that was eventually crowned The Ring Magazine Fight of the Year, “Pantera” upset the teak-tough Azat “Crazy A” Hovhannisyan in the 12th round with a spectacular finish.
