Ryan Garica’s personal and professional life has been in shambles. The former WBC interim champion’s persona change from a ‘Pretty Boy’ to a self-destructive force has been shocking. Garica tainted his professional career with weight misses and doping violations. As for his personal life, the boxer recently broke into his ex-wife’s home to see his children but destroyed the property, for which he recently apologized.
“I’m finally getting help and going to rehab. In the next couple of months, you’ll see a change. I need to handle some things first, but after that, I’m checking myself into rehab to get better. Hopefully, I can return to boxing and co-parenting with the two most important people in my life – Andrea, Henry, and Bella. I love you guys so much,” Garcia said In a recent TikTok video, admitting his troubles with alcoholism and promising to seek help for it.
This is not the first time Garcia had to apologize for his actions. The 25-year-old recently made some Islamophobic, racist, and homophobic comments, resulting in a suspension from the WBC. King Ry also had to apologize for his defamatory remarks about Prime Hydration after Jake Paul and KSI threatened him with a lawsuit.
Citing Ryan Gacia, Shakur Stevenson Calls Out Lack of Support
After he turned heel, Ryan Garcia attacked several boxers online, from Devin Haney to Caleb Plant. However, he respected Gervonta Davis, the only fighter to defeat him in professional boxing. The WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson recently received KingRy’s scathing criticism.
Stevenson’s recent victory over Artem Harutyunyan received criticism from all corners for its apparent lacklusterness. Now a promotional free agent, the WBC lightweight champion called out the Black community for not supporting him, citing the Mexican’s support for Garcia.

“Mexicans, they’re going to sit there and love Ryan Garcia to death. He says he’s going to rehab, and everybody’s like, ‘Yes, we’re so happy for you,’ you feel me? But the black guys, they’re on some funny shit,” Stevenson said to Naji Grampus on Cigar Talk.
