Boxing promoter Oscar De La Hoya has claimed that Canelo Alvarez will lose to Jamie Munguia. As mentioned earlier, Alvarez is set to return to the squared circle later this weekend.
The Mexican will go up against Jamie Munguia and attempt to defend his undisputed super middleweight title in what would be his 65th professional fight.
The highly anticipated fight will take place during the Cinco de Mayo weekend on May 4 in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the T-Mobile Arena. As one would assume going into the fight, the undisputed super middleweight champion has emerged as a considerable favorite to win the fight.

However, Canelo Alvarez’s former promoter and boxer, Oscar De La Hoya, has suggested that he will lose the bout. De La Hoya commented on a post which asked fans if Alvarez will “reign supreme” this weekend against Munguia and said:
“No”
