Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk locked horns inside the squared circle last night. The highly anticipated heavyweight bout took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The event was set to crown the first undisputed heavyweight champion of this generation and it was a night to remember. The fight turned out to be extremely close and Usy even secured a knockdown in the ninth round. That ultimately proved to be the point of difference as the Ukrainian boxer won the fight via a split decision.
With that said about the fight, in this piece we will take a look at how much money both fighters made. It is reported that the purse split was heavily in favor of Tyson Fury and while Fury made an estimated 145 million from the fight, Usyk walked away with roughly 50 million.
That said, it is safe to say that the fight was extremely good when it comes to their pay cheques.
