In their undisputed title match, Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are expected to engage in the greatest battle of their lives. Both combatants should earn astronomical sums of money from what is likely to be one of the most significant boxing events in history.
The Independent reports that the two competitors will divide a purse fund of $150 million (£116 million). With a 70/30 split in Fury’s favour, ‘The Gypsy King’ will take home a record-breaking $105 million in earnings, while Usyk will take home $45 million.
Next week, Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will finally fight for the title of undisputed heavyweight champion in Saudi Arabia.
On Saturday, both boxers will stake their titles and perfect records on the line as they attempt to emulate Lennox Lewis by taking home every major title in the division.
While Usyk holds the WBA, WBO, and IBF titles, Fury brings the WBC belt to Riyadh. A gash to the Gypsy King’s eye during sparring cancelled the initial fight date, making this a much-anticipated match.

Heavy pay cheques are at stake in what is being described as the biggest battle of both fighters’ boxing careers. According to Independent reports, Fury is reportedly under contract to make almost 70% of the estimated salary of $150 million (£116 million).
The contract included a stipulation requiring Fury to give £1 million of his earnings to Ukraine in light of that country’s ongoing conflict with Russia. Bob Arum, Fury’s US promoter, has stated publicly that the British boxer will profit more than $100 million (£78 million) from the match.
