The untimely passing of Josie Harris remains a head-scratcher for investigators.
TMZ is reporting that there was no evidence of drugs or suicide at the scene.
Josie, who has three children with Floyd Mayweather, was found unresponsive earlier this month in her vehicle, and while lifesaving measures were taken at the time, it was already too late.
“We’re also told there was no suicide note. It does not appear she intentionally took her own life.
Now, the case is in the hands of the medical examiner who will evaluate the results from the autopsy — along with toxicology — to determine the cause of death.”
The 40-year old actress dated Mayweather from 1995 until 2010. In 2015, Harris filed a lawsuit against Mayweather for $20 million that accused him of lying about her in an interview with Katie Couric where he claimed Harris was high on drugs during a 2010 domestic violence incident that landed him behind bars for two months.
The court found, “Since this evidence is unequivocally at odds with the assertion that Mayweather was simply restraining a drug-addled Harris by only twisting her arm, it may reasonably be inferred that Mayweather acted with malice or reckless disregard of the truth during the Couric interview.”
