Floyd Mayweather insists that he could help Deontay Wilder defeat Tyson Fury.
At the end of February in Las Vegas — Fury absolutely dominated Wilder in the ring to not only break his 43-fight unbeaten run, but take his WBC title as well, effectively ending his 5-year run.
During a Q&A on his UK tour, retired boxer Floyd mayweather was asked if the Bronze Bomber could defeat Fury in their trilogy fight.
“If I train him. If I train him I can teach him how to win.”
Mayweather sent out his support for Wilder soon after his first professional defeat of his career.
“Win, Lose or Draw…. Deontay @BronzeBomber is our brother that has accomplished many triumphs and as a community we should all uplift and support him throughout it all.

“No matter what, you’re still a winner in my eyes, King!”
The likelihood of Wilder accepting help from Mayweather will probably never happen as Wilder explained to BoxingScene that Mayweather never supported him as America’s next African-American star.
Wilder said: “I don’t need the acceptance or the torch passed from none of these guys.
“They’ve done a great job in their careers — not only Floyd, but a lot of them. They know who they are. You can’t take nothing away from them.
“We take our hats off for what they’ve done. I just want the same respect. I don’t have any ill will toward none of these guys that have an ill will toward me, or look at me as anything else other than being great.”
