Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s exhibition boxing match against John Gotti III ended in chaos on Sunday night after the bout was stopped in the sixth round.
Nobody truly knows if this was just a work or not, but it certainly garnered a ton of attention online.
Mayweather and Gotti trashed-talked their way through more than half the fight with referee Kenny Bayless ultimately stopping the bout in the sixth. That stoppage would cause issues as Gotti would charge toward Mayweather to continue the fight.
The two then started to throw punches at each other while both of their teams stepped into the ring, where more pushing and shoving continued.
The view on television was crazy, but the look ringside was even crazier.

Mayweather hasn’t fought professionally since his win over Conor McGregor in 2017. He ended his career 50-0 with 26 knockouts.
In the meantime, he has fought in lucrative exhibitions against anyone from Logan Paul to Gotti. His bout against Gotti was ruled a disqualification.
Gotti was competing in his third boxing match and had a pro record of 2-0. He’s also 5-1 in MMA.
This just may lead to a rematch and an even bigger payday.
