Anthony Joshua returned to the ring this weekend to put a hurting on Francis Ngannou.
Despite the latter’s achievements in UFC and his previous fight with Tyson Fury, he simply was not ready for what Joshua had in store as the eventlasted just two rounds while he hit the canvas three times.
Joshua ended the bout with a powerful knockout blow that left the Cameroonian flattened.

Some have pointed out that the result could have been staged given the way Ngannou’s leg folded under him. But others have outlined why it simply couldn’t have been rigged.

Ngannou’s experience did play a significant role in his defeat as it was mostly one-way traffic throughout the short fight. Boxing hasn’t worked out for him so far, but he could have a real future in the discipline if he keeps at it.
