Although Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk have yet to meet, they’ve been informed that their rematch will occur in October.
On May 18, in Saudi Arabia, the two heavyweight world champions will square off to determine who will be the division’s first unchallenged winner since Lennox Lewis in 1999. The battle was initially scheduled at Wembley in April of last year but has been postponed thrice.
However, when Fury asked for the fight to be rescheduled from December to February and demanded another postponement after being eliminated, the opponents eventually squared off in Riyadh in 11 days. They’ve also been informed that they will reconvene in the Kingdom on October 12 or 13.

Why Does Oleksandr Usyk Warn Tyson Fury?
Oleksandr Usyk gave the WBC king a nine-word message, telling Tyson Fury, “Don’t be afraid.” On February 17, the two fighters were scheduled to spar, with all four belts up for grabs to become boxing’s first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999.
However, the Gypsy King’s horrific cut during sparring has forced a rescheduling of the match until May 18.

Usyk continued his preparations in his attempt to unseat the undefeated Manchester native as the best possible response to the shocking news.
He then stated: “Don’t be afraid. I will not leave you alone.”
It was recently disclosed that Usyk was training in Spain when his fourth child was born, so the fight was postponed.
Usyk has now stated that Fury must follow his guidelines, threatening to withhold an £8 million fine from both men should they withdraw from the match.
With an outstanding 34-0-1 record and 24 knockouts, Fury was dealt a severe blow when he cut his eye during a sparring session before the planned February 17 date. The bout was already highly anticipated, but this unanticipated occurrence moved the schedule up three months.
With a 21-0-0 record and 14 knockouts, Usyk, a Ukrainian boxer, is prepared to give Fury his first defeat of the fight.
