Since beating Devin Haney last month, Ryan Garcia has dominated the headlines lately. The boxing world was shaken when Garcia tested positive for a banned substance, and after his victory in the company, his stock rose through the roof, and several fighters in the world called him out. Since his win last month, the Mexican might be the highest-trending fight entity on social media. The former boxing world champion became the victim of a callout by one of the top MMA fighters in the Lightweight division of the UFC.
Lightweight Ace calls out Ryan Garcia
The UFC roster includes some of the most exciting personalities in the fight world, and Renato ‘Money’ Moicano is one of them. Moicano was one of the many fighters who featured in UFC’s landmark event, UFC 300. Moicanp is one of the most versatile fighters, proficient in striking and grappling. The Brazilian is equally competent on mic calling out his opponents. Star boxer Ryan Garcia became the latest victim of Moicano’s callout. According to The Championship Rounds the Lightweight said,
Next time I want to fight boxing, that little dirt head Ryan Garcia motherf***ing steroid abuser. If I go to box I’m gonna f*** you up. Paddy Pimblett easy money, let’s f***ing go!
Renato Moicano did not mince his words when he called out Garcia. He made it clear he wanted to exchange fists with him and massively threatened his fellow Lightweight, the Englishman Paddy Pimblet. Moicano believes that a fight with Pimblet will be child’s play. Moicano is a natural grappler and struggled against Turner’s striking in his last fight. Many will agree that Renato will be a massive underdog in a boxing fight against Ryan Garcia in the ring.
Renato Moicano is on an impressive three-fight win streak in the lightweight division. It’s doubtful that we will see the man against one of the most lethal boxers, but we might witness Paddy and Renato exchanging fists in the octagon shortly. Ryan Garcia has yet to respond to the UFC star’s callout. It will be interesting to see what Garcia says about an MMA fighter willing to fight him. Only time will tell what happens in the combat sports world soon.
