Dillon Danis has taken to social media to reveal that he will not be fighting Logan Paul on Saturday and will face off with his brother Jake Paul instead, with the influencer having missed the weigh-in.
There was always concern in Paul’s camp about Danis potentially pulling out, so much so that they had a $100,000 clause inserted into the fight agreement. But Paul’s lawyers might have some research to do as Dillon has claimed that the fight is off because his would-be opponent “missed weight.”
Danis went on an X rant, accusing Paul of missing an 11 o’clock deadline and then making a call to have it pushed back.
“The commission’s rules state that weigh-ins are between 10 and 11,” he wrote. “If you miss the 11 o’clock deadline, you’ve missed weight. I weighed in at 10:15, but Logan still hasn’t. The commission said that if he doesn’t arrive by the 11am deadline, the fight is off.”
“He missed the weight, but then called Misfits and changed the rules to give himself an extra hour. We should be on an even playing field, he shouldn’t get special treatment. He’s already got more juice than Tropicana. He missed the weight, plain and simple. They’re trying to handicap me as much as possible.”
Paul showed up around 11:30 BST and posted a weight of 194.3, a good .7 pounds under the 195-pound catchweight.

“He claims he made weight, but it doesn’t count,” Danis noted. “The rules are the rules. If he wants to be viewed as a genuine boxer, he needs to follow the 11 o’clock deadline. Look at the time he posted. It’s not fair; I had to follow the rules, and he isn’t an exception.”
Of course, this is likely just trolling from Danis, who has been doing anything he can to get in Logan’s head, including making countless derogatory posts about his girlfriend Nina Agdal to the point where she’s taken legal action, as well as constantly threatening to pull out of the fight.
Should Danis walk away in truth, Paul will have to fight Mike Perry, who is a much tougher opponent and is willing to get in the ring with the YouTuber even if El Jefe opts out at the last second.
