Ryan Garcia secured a shock victory over Devin Haney last night. The two entered the squared circle in their seventh fight against each other, the first pro-fight.
Their amateur battle ended with three wins for each fighter. Going into their first pro-fight, Haney emerged as a considerable favorite. However, when the two locked horns, it was a completely different story.
Ryan Garcia managed to stun Devin Haney early in the fight but failed to capitalize on it. As Haney started to go on cruise control, Garcia caught him with his signature left hook and dropped him.
Garcia dropped Haney two more times before the fight ended and managed to secure a majority decision victory as he upset the odds in a major way. Following the fights, reports have emerged that Haney might have broken his jaw.

However, that does not seem to be the case, and they are just rumors. The same was confirmed by Haney, who took to X and said: “I have no broken anything btw way like i said im Ok”
