The UFC 303 concluded with many fighters bowing out at the last minute. In the post-fight presser, UFC President Dana White expressed his contentment at how the event came together and provided entertaining bouts. After the event, White made a massive revelation and claimed he would be open to working with the famous boxing promoter Bob Arum.
Dana White on Working With Bob Arum
Dana White touched on the subject of Callum Walsh in the post-event press conference. He revealed that he is a fan of Walsh and is ready to fight for Callum and help him out in the future. White had a rather hilarious and shocking response when asked whether he would also work with Bob Arum. Dana said,
He (Bob Arum) is such a d*ck. I don’t know. I don’t want to but I guess if it was good for Callum, we’d try to figure out.
White is not a fan of Bob Arum, the legendary boxing promoter, who has made negative claims about the UFC president. But Dana will be willing to overlook them to put up something good for Callum Walsh. White clearly does not get along with many big boxing figures in the past. He also revealed that he does not get along with Oscar De La Hoya and would never do business with the boxing legend.
It will be interesting to see if White will soon be a promoter in the boxing world. One thing’s for sure: if Dana ever becomes a promoter of one of the major boxers, he will become one of the top guys in the boxing world. It will also be interesting to see what happens in the near future with the UFC president.
