Boxing fans are gearing up for Canelo vs. Edgar Berlanga’s fight, which is scheduled for September 14 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Interestingly, it will also clash with UFC 306 Noche, which is happening on the same Mexican Independence Day weekend. However, the mega boxing match isn’t the only bout happening on that day.
Recently, the promoter Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) announced three undercard bouts for September 14. One of them will serve as the co-main event for the main event, Canelo vs. Berlanga. The 41-year-old Erislandy Lara will be defending his WBA middleweight world title against another veteran superstar, Danny Garcia.
Here are all the three undercard fights for September 14:
- Erislandy Lara (c) vs. Danny Garcia: For WBA middleweight world title
- Caleb Plant vs. Trevor McCumby: For WBA ‘interim’ super middleweight title
- Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero vs. Manuel Jaimes

The Mexican superstar, who has a 61-2-2 record, is certainly giving the 27-year-old a lifetime opportunity. All of Canelo’s WBC, WBO, and WBA championship belts will be on the line. Now, it remains to be seen if Berlanga will be able to capitalize on his chance.
