The WBO welterweight title was on the line when a pair of top fighters collided in Las Vegas on Saturday.
At the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, Terence Crawford and Shawn Porter finally stepped in the ring for their much anticipated bout. Crawford entered the bout as a huge favorite to retain his belt. And in the 10th round, he showed why, successfully defending his WBO welterweight title by knocking out Shawn Porter.

It was an exciting fight from start to finish, as both fighters gave it their all. But in the end, Crawford was just too much for Porter, forcing the latter’s father to throw in the towel and stop the fight after his second knockdown of the round.
The win improves Crawford’s record to 38-0 with 29 wins by knockout. As for Porter, he drops to 31-4 after suffering his first ever loss by knockout.
