Absolutely gut-wrenching news came out on Wednesday when it was reported that Josie Harris, who is the mother of 3 children with Floyd Mayweather, was found deceased at her home in Valencia, California.
TMZ has the details:
“Law enforcement sources tell us … officials were called to the home around 9:30 PM and when they arrived, they found 40-year-old Harris unresponsive in her car.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. We’re told there does not appear to be any foul play and the case is being treated as a death investigation as opposed to a homicide probe.”
Josie and Floyd had a terrible past together, with Harris accusing him of domestic abuse and Mayweather being convicted in 2010 of domestic violence and spending 2 months behind bars.
Mayweather and Harris were actually scheduled to head to court later this year, which stemmed from a $20 million lawsuit Harris filed against Floyd. The lawsuit pertained to Mayweather outright denying in an interview with Katie Couric that he beat Harris in 2010, claiming he only tried to restrain Harris and that she was on drugs.
Harris reportedly dated Mayweather from 1995 to 2010.
