Saudi Arabia is set to host a fabulous night of boxing fights tonight in Riyadh. The event will be headlined by a heavyweight clash between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou.
Francis Ngannou is coming off an impressive performance against Tyson Fury. In what was his pro-boxing debut, Ngannou shook up the world with his performance and secured the lone knockdown of the fight as well. However, he ended up losing the bout via a close split decision.
On the flip side, Anthony Joshua was last seen inside the squared circle against Otto Wallin in December. On the night he dominated his opponent for five rounds before Wallin’s corner decided to stop the fight before the sixth round was started.

Francis Ngannou opens up about his retirement plans ahead of his second boxing fight
Ahead of his fight against Anthony Joshua, Francis Ngannou has opened up about his plans for retirement. During a recent appearance on the Pound 4 Pound podcast with Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo, Ngannou was asked about his future in the world of combat sports.
Responding to the question, Francis Ngannou suggested that he thinks he has just three to four years of competing left in him. He said:
“When I retire from fighting, it’s just the end of my combat sports career. I think I might retire around 40 [years old]. I’m thinking about 40 so in three, four years [from] now. That’s where my mind is at. Then at 40, I still have maybe half of my life that I can do a lot of things.”
