The boxing schedule states Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney will square off for the World Boxing Council super lightweight title on Saturday, April 20, in Brooklyn, New York’s Barclays Center.
There has been animosity between Garcia and Haney for the past few weeks, which dates back to when they were amateur boxers and split their six fights with a 3-3 record. They will now compete against one another in the professional ranks for the first time.
On April 20, 2024, Manny Pacquaio and Buakaw Banchamek will square off in an exhibition boxing battle. Although the fight was initially made public in July 2023, fresh information has since been made public.
The bout, dubbed “The Match of Legends,” will occur under international boxing regulations and consist of six rounds of three minutes each, separated by two-minute intervals. The boxers will square off at 154 pounds, or 70 kg, the Muay Thai junior middleweight class equivalent of super welterweight in boxing.

Before becoming professional, the two competed six times. Haney and Garcia had three victories during that period and have become well-known figures.
Haney, one of the greatest fighters in the world pound-for-pound, was previously the uncontested lightweight champion and is now aiming to rule the super lightweight class.
Although Garcia is regarded as one of the best in the sport, Gervonta Davis defeated him in their previous encounter.

A practice match between Pacquaio and Buakaw was held before the scheduled match. The two combative veterans faced off in Bangkok on July 21 to promote the bout.
The “WBC Legend Belt” and a cash reward of $289,000 (10 million baht) will be awarded to the winner.
