On June 1st, Zhilei “Big Bang” Zhang will take on former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. That night, the action is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. BST, 2 p.m. ET.
If Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang hope to be in the world title picture, they cannot afford to lose the scheduled bout. Wilder has already stated that he would retire if he lost the Saudi Arabia fight. The former WBC heavyweight champion is the underdog on boxing betting sites, having only won once in his last four contests.
Parker is the common factor between these two fighters; Zhang’s only professional defeat came in March when he lost by points to the New Zealander.
