The boxing world is in mourning after the tragic news was passed down that boxer Maxim Dadashev had passed away just days after a match on Friday where he sustained multiple injuries.

The Russian junior welterweight contender absorbed north of 300 punches over the course of the contest and was unable to exit the ring under his own power and collapsed to the ground.

He was put on a stretcher and taken away in an ambulance, vomiting profusely while inside. He eventually lost consciousness while in the ambulance.
