According to Boxing Scene, forensic experts in Puerto Rico have confirmed the body discovered in Laguna San Jose has been identified as Keishla Marlen Rodriguez Ortiz.
Felix Verdejo remains under investigation regarding the missing woman who is said to have shown up to his home with a pregnancy test to inform him he was the father of her child.
The Puerto Rican lightweight was named as a person of interest in the disappearance of Keishla Marlen Rodriguez Ortiz, a 27-year-old woman with whom the boxer had a years-long affair.
Verdejo and his legal team reported to thr Cuerpo de Investigacion Criminales (CIC) office in Hato Rey on Friday, although the boxer did not answer a single question by investigators.
The vehicle of of the Puerto Rican boxer was seized on Saturday night in connection with the alleged murder. The gray Dodge Durango car was captured by security cameras at the scene of a crime. The young woman’s family reiterated on Friday in NotiCentro WAPA, Puerto Rico, that Rodríguez Ortiz was pregnant with the fighter and went to show him the positive test.

Rodríguez Ortiz was last seen in a dark gray 2016 Kia Forte vehicle which was abandoned in the municipality of Canóvanas.
Verdejo (27-2, 17KOs) has not fought since a 9th round knockout loss to Japan’s Masayoshi Nakatani last December in Las Vegas.
