Hearn Sets Sights on 100,000 Attendance for Joshua vs. Dubois
According to Matchroom Boxing’s Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, the fight can potentially break the attendance record in the United Kingdom. In his recent appearance on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Hour, Hearn revealed what Turki Alalshikh, the chairman of General Entertainment Authority, is looking for Riyahd Season’s debut in England.
“I mean, this is our fourth show, obviously. This is a Riyadh Season event, but this is the fourth time we’ve been involved promotionally in a show at Wembley. We did Froch vs. Groves, which was the first ever one, 80,000; Joshua vs. Klitschko, 90,000; 80,000 for Povetkin vs. Joshua. And now, I’m expecting His Excellency (Turki Alalshikh) to push for 100,000 for Wembley,” said Hearn.
The fight announcement has excited boxing fans across the world, especially those in the UK. The face-off between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois had already hyped up the fans.
