Boxer Adrien Broner is no stranger to controversy, but people are actually worried about his safety and mental health this week.
The former multi-weight champion has hit rock bottom despite recently recording a first victory under the guidance of Hall of Fame promoter Don King.
Broner agreed to be interviewed for a YouTube channel to discuss a variety of topics, but things quickly went off the rails. “The Danza Project” hosted Broner for a live interview, but the 33-year-old appeared to be inebriated during the appearance.
You can hear just how slow his speech became as he started repeating himself and wasn’t talking clearly.

The Danza Project ended up removing the full interview and explained what happened when trying to interview him.
“We rescheduled the show 3 straight days and we took the interview down immediately following the live stream,” the show wrote on Twitter.
Fans were really worried about him:
Adrien Broner looked like his old self earlier this month when he put on a complete masterclass performance defeating Bill Hutchinson by a ten-round unanimous decision in his comeback fight at welterweight.
The former WBA super lightweight champion got the win via unanimous decision in the 10-round bout. The judges ruled the fight 100-90, 99-91, and 99-91, reflecting Broner’s dominance from start to finish.
A former protégé of Floyd Mayweather Jr., Broner’s career has fallen on hard times due to a series of legal issues.
Prior to his fight this month, the 33-year-old most recently fought on Feb. 20, 2021, when he defeated Jovanie Santiago by unanimous decision.
Time will tell if Broner can get his act together and return to the boxer he used to be.
