George Foreman has been accused of sexually assaulting two women way back in the 1970s.
The two women, who have not been named for legal reasons, claim they were assaulted by the heavyweight legend “over 45 years ago.” The 73-year-old former two-time world heavyweight champion says he and his lawyers will “expose his accusers” in court. Foreman “categorically” denies any wrongdoing whatsoever, and he says he will “not be intimidated by baseless threats and lies.”
His full response came via a statement to the New York Post: “Over the past six months, two women have been trying to extort millions of dollars each from me and my family. They are falsely claiming that I sexually abused them over 45 years ago in the 1970s. I adamantly and categorically deny these allegations.”
The alleged victims each reportedly have fathers who had close friendships and working relationships with Foreman.
According to TMZ, the women are seeking $12.5 million each from Foreman.
In his statement, Foreman added: “The pride I take in my reputation means as much to me as my sports accomplishments, and I will not be intimidated by baseless threats and lies. I am, and always will be, guided by my faith and trust in God. I will work with my lawyers to fully and truthfully expose my accusers’ scheme and defend myself in court. I don’t pick fights, but I don’t run away from them either.”

Foreman was a two-time champion who had a career record of 76-5.
