Did 2020 somehow put us back into the 1990s?
Evander Holyfield has now responded to Mike Tyson with a declaration of his own.
The Real Deal posted a video of him in the gym and signed off with ‘I’m back’ much like Tyson did some 24 hours before.
The 57-year-old Holyfield said on Instagram: “My 1st week back in the gym and I feel great. I’m looking forward to stepping up my training sessions and intensity as I prepare for my fight. I told you I had something for you.”
When asked if he’d be prepared to face a 53-year-old Tyson again, Holyfield said he would.
“You know life is about two people really trusting each other and what can we do now,” he said. “There is a lot of things Mike and I have done together that works.

“Obviously people like to see the two best people. Some people didn’t get the chance to see Mike and I. Everything is opinionated now about who the best is. I was the best of my era I felt.”
Holyfield emerged victorious in their first fight in 1996, beating Tyson against the odds.
Their second fight is most remembered for Tyson taking a bite out of his ear that resulted in a disqualification.
We just might be getting that trilogy fight in 2020.
