Riddick Bowe is making his way back to the ring.
The 53-year-old former 2x heavyweight champion has reportedly signed a deal with Celebrity Boxing to fight October 23 in Miami, according to TMZ.
He does not have an opponent as of yet. Bowe last fought some 13 years ago with a unanimous decision victory in December 2008.
In 1992, Bowe won the undisputed WBA, WBC and IBF titles by defeating then-unbeaten former undisputed heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield. That same year, Bowe was named Fighter of the Year by The Ring and the Boxing Writers’ Association of America.
His pro record stands at 43-1 (33 KO’s), with the Holyfield rematch being his only pro loss.
