Alex Hoegler is a news and script writer at TPS. A lifelong sports fan, he attended Langara College in Vancouver, where he graduated with a diploma in journalism. While there, Alex spent six weeks interning for the BCHL, where he conducted player interviews, in-depth features and game recaps.
Alex has written about a variety of sports for 11 years, mostly football, hockey, basketball and baseball. Alex’s passion for sports has taken him to a variety of memorable sporting events, including the 2015 AFC Championship Game between the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots, the 2019 NHL Entry Draft and the 2014 NHL Heritage Classic Game between the Vancouver Canucks and Ottawa Senators at BC Place.
