Leave it to Antonio Brown to help take some of the heat away from Russell Wilson following that Thursday night debacle.
The controversial free agent wideout finds himself in the news once again, which is becoming a common occurrence, despite the fact that he’s no longer playing on Sundays.
According to a report from TMZ, Brown is being sued in Broward County, Florida, by a man named Ryan Kane. He’s being accused of selling the man a fake Richard Mille watch that the former Bucs wideout apparently knew was fake.
The sale took place back on July 27. Kane claims that Brown told him the watch (a Richard Mille RM 011) was real and had a value of over $400,000. Convinced that AB was telling the truth, he wired the money to his company to complete the purchase.
But a few weeks later, while getting it appraised for insurance purposes, Kane was informed that the watch was a fake with a value of only a few hundred dollars. After doing some additional research, Ryan found out that Brown had purchased the watch he sold him, plus three others, from a dealer in Dubai for less than $500 each, fully knowing they were fakes.
Kane is now suing Brown for his money back plus interest. Brown has yet to respond to the accusations, but it is probably only a matter of time.
He’s currently got his hands full dealing with the controversial video that surfaced of him flashing his junk at a hotel pool.
