At this point last year, all of the Aaron Rodgers talk was regarding his future with the Green Bay Packers. Fast forward one year later and the reigning MVP quarterback is making headlines again…
Only this time, it’s his new tattoo that everyone is talking about.
Rodgers revealed the tattoo in an Instagram post yesterday, claiming that “there’s a deep and meaningful story and connection to absolutely each element of this art piece.” He went on to say that he’d explain exactly what that meaning is at some point in the future.

Well, we may not have to wait for him after all.
Upon further investigation, it appears as though Rodgers’ girlfriend, Blu of Earth, has at least had somewhat of an influence on the Packers QB’s tattoo.

Notice the lions in Rodgers’ new body ink? He’s not the only one with a little thing for the giant cats. Blu has apparently been obsessed with felines for a while now, according to artwork that she’s proudly displayed in her Instagram stories over the years:

And remember that eye from Rodgers’ tattoo? The one sitting at the top, front and center? I wonder where he got that from???

The couple apparently also used the same tattoo artist.
If you take a look at the image below, you’ll notice that Blu has some ink of her own on her left hand, wrist and forearm. It’s clearly different from what Rodgers has, but they do share at least somewhat of a similar style with their hidden messages.
I’m sure there’s a significant personal meaning behind Rodgers’ tattoo, and that it’s not just something that his girl came up with for him…
That being said, based on how long his relationships have lasted as of late, Rodgers may want to start looking into a good tattoo removal place…just in case.
