It looks like Patrick Mahomes is spending his offseason tackling online rumors, but he’s not the only one.
The Kanas City Chiefs quarterback took to Twitter on Friday amid false accusations about his relationship with his fiancée Brittany Matthews and his brother Jackson Mahomes. In a tweet, Patrick seemingly weighed in on the claims and wrote alongside three laughing emojis, “Y’all just be making stuff up these days.”
His mother also had Matthews and Jackson’s back as well.
Randi Mahomes took to her Instagram story and posted a picture of Kanye West holding up paper that had, “Leave Brittany & all us Mahomes alone.”
“Thanks @Kanyewest I agree,” she wrote on the picture.
She also posted a text conversation of somebody asking her if Patrick told Brittany and Jackson to stop attending games.

Last month, Matthews caught hell after she celebrated the Chiefs’ win against the Buffalo Bills by popping a bottle of champagne and spraying it into the crowd. In October, when a Chiefs fan criticized her passion and claimed that she was “not giving the org a good look,” the fitness entrepreneur tweeted back, “In the nicest way possible…Shut up.”
The NFL star got engaged to Brittany, his high school sweetheart, in September 2020. The couple welcomed their first child together on Feb. 20, 2021.
She is not going anywhere so the fans will just have to suck it up.
