Poor Cowboys fans. Like every year, this year was REALLY supposed to be their year. They had a high-powered aerial attack led by Dak Prescott, Ceedee Lamb and Amari Cooper. They had a strong ground game with Ezekiel Elliott and their offensive line. And their defense was the best in the NFL when it came to forcing turnovers during the regular season.
But as has often been the case, once the calendar turned and it was time to play some playoff football, the Cowboys sputtered. This time it was in the Wild Card round against the San Francisco 49ers on their own field.
The loss left many fans in the stands at AT&T Stadium distressed. And the cameraman seemed to be picking them out one by one. First it was the crying female fan.
And then he caught this sad couple embracing as they attempt to console one another.
Social media was quick to notice yet another group of sad Cowboys fans and they were quick to pounce all over them. Twitter came firing away with a slew of jokes about the Cowboys and their depressed fanbase.
